According to scientists at a European space company, the world may soon be powering their homes and electric vehicles with solar generated that is collected in outer space and beamed back to earth for our use.
They expect to have a working prototype in five years time. Other countries -- including Japan and the US have also begun initiatives to collect space based solar energy.
